Fresh Hope is an aspirational organisation, a charity working tirelessly to transform lives and the communities they work within. Their new office in the heart of Sydney needed to reflect their ethos while providing an inspiring place to work for their team and collaborators.
Taking cues from their brand, we created a fresh natural landscape upon arrival. Locally sourced materials like recycled timber flooring and Tasmanian Oak joinery, cardboard tubing made from recycled paper and rich planting come together to create a refreshing forest-like reception experience.
Through the forest corridor, areas of clarity await with a light-filled kitchen and social gathering spaces featuring recycled paper ceilings and locally crafted joinery, designed to create moments of ambition and hope.
The office needed to be energising, while providing workplace practicality with ergonomic workstations, user-friendly technology for teleconferencing, plug in/plug out workstations and different areas designed for collaborating or for quiet focus. With biophilic design at the heart of the project, each space has been created to support the health and wellbeing of Fresh Hope staff, a team that spends their day supporting others.
We acknowledge the Wangal people of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which Fresh Hope Office stands. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
